The Self-Locking Captain Hook Security 30kg is a heavy-duty picture hanging solution designed for both strength and added protection. Featuring a built-in theft-delay latch, it helps prevent artwork from being easily removed—making it ideal for galleries, exhibitions, and public events where extra security is important. While not completely theft-proof, it significantly increases the time and effort required to remove displayed pieces.

Engineered for durability, this hook supports up to 30kg on a single hook and has been tested to hold frames up to 40kg when using two hooks with 1.5mm or 2mm steel cables or Perlon cords. For nylon Perlon cord setups, it is recommended for frames up to 15kg.

Its sleek, low-profile design allows large or bulky frames to hang closer to the wall, improving both stability and visual presentation. The hook is highly versatile and compatible with canvases featuring grooves, D-rings, cords, and most keyhole hanging systems.
