The kit also provides a clear, transparent Perlon cord available in lengths ranging from 1m to 10m. Available Moulding Hook colors are Brass, White, Nickel, Black, Silver, and Walnut (Brown).
The Moulding Hook Captain & Perlon cord kit is tailored for Victorian-style picture rails. This set combines a classic molding hook with a contemporary picture hanging cord and an adjustable Captain hook. Designed to anchor from wooden dado picture rails, these molding hooks come with holes. The see-through Perlon Cord is equipped with a metal barrel at one end, intended to thread through the hook's hole, offering an alternative to the conventional wire hanging loop. The Captain Hook, when threaded onto the nylon cord, offers flexibility in adjusting your picture's height. Its swift auto-locking feature simplifies the process, especially when hanging multiple frames.
By employing 2 sets of the Moulding Hook Captain & Perlon Kit, you can effortlessly suspend picture frames and mirrors weighing up to 15kg (30lbs). Connect a cord on both the left and right sides of the picture frame. In the case of smaller pieces, weighing up to 10kg (20lbs), a sole Perlon Cord positioned at the center of the frame suffices. Our Moulding Hooks are compatible with a wide array of Wooden Picture Rails, including Victorian Rails, Dado Rails, and even screens and partitions.
